To The London Academy of Dance Community,
The TLAD team hopes that this email finds you in good health in these troubled times.
As you may have been informed, the guidelines of the WHO (World Health Organization) are encouraging social distancing, maintaining at least 1 meter apart from other people and avoid handshakes, to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Please read below for more information on the school’s services updates amid this pandemic:
GROUP CLASSES: Ballroom and Social Dances are predominantly close contact dances. Lining up with the WHO guidelines, our school has therefore taken the decision to postpone all group classes amid the COVID-19 Pandemic, until further notice. The group classes will continue where they left, so if you have purchased a block of classes, you will be able to use your remaining classes after lock-down finishes.
PRIVATE CLASSES: Private Classes will not be done face to face during lock-down. You will be able to book and have Private classes online. If you are interested in Online Live-stream private sessions please email:
Online Live-stream classes are available to book online. Please follow link below for more information on our online class schedule:
We will get through this crisis together;

Professional Ballroom Dancing Lessons
Professionally Accredited and Fully Trained Teachers.
Since the Academy opened its doors in 2007, it has taught its students from the professional syllabus of both the ISTD and IDTA. The founder, Greg Gillespie, is a member of both associations and has lectured on numerous occasions in both Ballroom and Latin in London and around the country.
The Academy also has its own teacher training course which enables new teachers the chance to learn how to teach alongside a senior teacher whilst working towards ISTD and IDTA qualifications. Teacher training and teaching qualifications are also available in Salsa and Argentine Tango.
If you're interested in training with us as a dance teacher, as well as the ballroom dancing lessons we offer, click on the link above for more information.

"Dance is one of the most beautiful types of art and it should be celebrated by everyone. I began dancing at the age of three and since then, dance has become the most powerful tool of expression for me. Passionate about sharing my love for dance, I believe that dancing technique can be understood and mastered through sculpted teaching strategies to fit your own way of learning, as long you are passionate about the art of dance and getting to know more about it!" - Lorena Savvidou
