Ballroom Dancing Lessons London

Just a two minute walk from Canary Wharf DLR and tube station, Ballroom dancing lessons are available at our studio, which is located in the centre of Canary Wharf on Canada Square.
Our studios are state of the art purpose built studios, which are fully mirrored and air conditioned.
We also have a policy of no spectators so you can get the most from the undivided attention of your instructor.
We have been teaching at our venue in Canary Wharf since 2007 and the school first started teaching in 2005 at venues across central London.
Ballroom Dancing Lessons
Our studio offers tuition for adults of all ages and backgrounds the chance to learn Ballroom, Latin American, Salsa and Argentine Tango through private tuition or group classes.
Whether you're completely new to dancing or perhaps you're an experienced dancer, we offer a range of options for students of all ages and abilities to achieve their dancing goals. Private dance lessons are available with a range of different staff members across all genres of partnered dancing. We consider ourselves to be the leading provider of private dance lessons in London so if you would like to try one of our free 30 minute lessons get in touch and we will have to you dancing in no time.
Group dance classes are also available throughout the week and often at weekends and all of the teachers at our school are highly experienced and qualified instructors.
Professional Ballroom Dancing Lessons
Professionally Accredited and Fully Trained Teachers.
Since the Academy opened its doors in 2007, it has taught its students from the professional syllabus of both the ISTD and IDTA. Academy Principal Greg Gillespie, is a member of both associations and has lectured on numerous occasions in both Ballroom and Latin in London and around the country.
The Academy also has its own teacher training course which enables new teachers the chance to learn how to teach alongside a senior teacher whilst working towards ISTD and IDTA qualifications. Teacher training and teaching qualifications are also available in Salsa and Argentine Tango.

Greg Gillespie (ISTD Fellow) - Principal
2012 British Champion, UK Closed and National Finalist.
Founder and Principal of The London Academy Of Dance, Greg Gillespie, comes from a family of Ballroom dancers.
As a competitor Greg has competed as a juvenile, junior, youth, amateur and he now competes as a professional at National and International level. Having represented England at World Championships shortly after turning professional, Greg now represents Scotland as their number 1 representative at European and World championships.
Greg's professional competitive CV includes: Former British Showdance Champion, British Ballroom Finalist,UK Closed Latin Finalist, French Open Finalist, 2 x winner of the English Open titles and 2 x European Semi-Finalist. Ballroom dancing lessons with Greg Gillespie are available by request.
As a teacher Greg is a Fellow of the ISTD and is also a member of the IDTA and SDTA. Greg has lectured in Ballroom and Latin American dancing in London and around the country for both the ISTD and IDTA. Click on the link for more information about Principal Greg Gillespie.
